about
I am a photographer.
I make photographs seven days a week, 365 days a year, either for you or for myself.
I consider all work personal, after all, I'm the one who gets to press the shutter.
I have been a photographer for 30 years and plan on being a photographer for at least 30 more.
I am the easiest person you'll ever work with, ask my wife.
My 3 favorite photographers quotes are:
WEEGEE "A photograph is like a blintz, you gotta eat it while it's hot."
W. EUGENE SMITH, when asked if he uses available light. "I only use available light, what ever is available at the time, flash, hot lights, or day light."
JAMES VAN DER ZEE "I always try and make a picture more picturous."
Editorially, my work has appeared in Time, Men's Health, Good Housekeeping, Stern, More, Marie Claire, Inc., PC World, Der Spiegel, Pittsburgh Quarterly, and many other magazines.
I travel the world making photographs for editorial, advertising and corporate clients.
My work appears in:
THE POLAROID BOOK: Selections from the Polaroid Collection, published by Taschen
POLAROID IMAGE AND EMULSION TRANSFERS, Published by Amphoto
NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE ARTS: A History 1965-2009

Mellon Educational and Charitable Trust Foundation, Pittsburgh, PA, and in many private and corporate collections.
